Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and create an account profile.

Website data: When you connect your website, we store your domain name and crawl your public pages to analyze SEO signals including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, word counts, and response times.

Google Search Console data: If you connect Google Search Console, we access your search analytics data (keywords, positions, impressions, clicks) using read-only OAuth access. We store this data to power your keyword reports and AI recommendations. You can disconnect Google Search Console at any time from Settings.

Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage information including pages visited, features used, and session duration. This helps us improve the product.

Payment data: When you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve ClaritySEO, generate AI-powered SEO recommendations using Anthropic's Claude API, send product updates and account notifications, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (Supabase for database hosting, Anthropic for AI processing, Stripe for payments, Google for Search Console integration).

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by reaching out via our contact form. We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion.
